Out of touch with the economic reality of the increase in tuition fees



As it plans to limit the chances of students getting a higher education, which can have devastating consequences for the Armenian community in Armenia up to 30% increase in tuition fees.

Education fees are more than a dozen public and private universities increased 15% on average in May. The students only $ 260 a month when the average wage of US $ 1,048 a year to pay tuition fees that are not commensurate with the country's socio-economic development.

In Europe, more than 10,000 student union of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences to show solidarity against increased tuition fees have sent letters of support.
